I know these photos aren't too spectacular but it's fun to look back and see went the ice went out in past years.

Ice inside of Rookies but most of Lake is open. 

4/15/04

 

A cloudy March 31st.  Lake is still frozen but not enough to walk on.  No snow on the ground.

  Ice Boat races on the West side of Sebago this January.

After broken up ice formed close to shore (see photo below)  the middle and west sides of the lake froze beautifully.  

  Mt. Washington in the background.

It was blowing 60 mph with wind chill of -40 on the summit when this was taken.

 

January 20th

The ice is in but unfortunately it is too broken up to ice skate on.

 
 

January 12, 2004

Ice is starting to settle in.  This is the view from Point out to Rookies Island
