SAILING
Sailing is popular at both camps. Little Wohelo uses Sprite
sailboats launched off the beach in the protected waters.
The boats will fit campers and a counselor or can be sailed by
campers alone. Sailing is incorporated into the awards
system for all campers to enjoy.
Sebago Wohelo has over a dozen MIT tech dingies (shown here) that
are excellent for learning to sail as well as advancing sailing
skills. We launch directly from a protected deep water cove.
Girls at Sebago Wohelo may choose to work for their Crew, Ordinary
or Able Seaman Award as well as participate in the racing program.
