Don't forget the Alumnae Photo Page for recent slide shows attendees and other Wohelo groups away from Sebago Lake.

February - Counselors break through the ice for a dip in Sebago at our Staff Winter Weekend!

Spruce Up Weekend was a huge success.  See photo album  HERE

We missed Winter this year with no snow  and the lake never freezing over.  For the record what ice there was disappeared with the full moon (no relationship- but interesting), March 14th.
Check out past years ice breakups (Wow - how exciting!) and other past current photos HERE

We hope we have some strong backs for Spruce Up weekend.  The Bell didn't fare to well this winter and we are guessing it must weigh well over 1000 pounds.  Engineers ideas welcome (this is on a rock point inaccessible by anything but feet.)

Lucky for us we love our pine trees but it is still hard to see all the Hardwood trees the Beavers have taken down near Point.  We can't even imagine where they are living but they are taking advantage of an early spring and starting on the last couple trees that are left.

An intense wind storm brought huge waves this February.  The combination of wind and waves blew water onto the windows of the Sebago Wohelo Dining Hall.  A number of huge trees got taken down (see Rick with some below), unfortunately one of them hit the big Blue Truck.  Look for Rick in new wheels this summer.

Diane has been working on all sorts of projects including updating registration lists from the past 60 years into binders and framing past years All Camp Photos for the museum.  We hope to have lots of alum visitors during the next couple years to enjoy them.

February 16th -
This family of Turkeys are enjoying a big empty camp this winter and we see them around most days.  Here they are at Sebago Wohelo sail cove.  With many other lakes frozen over we also have been getting lots of other birds (ducks, loons) out on the lake.

You're going to have to take my word that this is a Bald Eagle, another frequent visitor,  above the trees at Little Wohelo.

Thanks to Anne, Charlie and Kate for the following 3 pictures.
